The Shining Path is a hidden area that leads from the Ring Reef to Metapha. It has many gates that can not be accessed but presumably lead to other areas in the land. Upon going in, you find an enemy who you follow and upon seening you, he goes to warn his master. Following where he went leads to as battle with a Master Mage trying to open the way to Metapha. After smiting him, The voice of the Spirit of the Pool of the Ancients says he used the Mermaid to bring Max here and the Path leads to the land of the Ancients. The Spirit opens the way to the Shining Path and says the Key to the Accursed Door is there. But the Master Mage with his last strength blocks the way and the spirit says Darksol needs The Key to the Door and the Manuel of the Seal to free Dark Dragon. The Manuel is in Dragonia and Max has to go to Prompt to get to another Shining Path. The area collapses and Max escapes as it sinks into the sea.
